I have been working from reference imagery in my sketchbook over the past few days to get these ink drawings done for my postcards. I did multiple drawings of each piece and picked the one which I thought would be the most effective in my images. I am pleased I took the time to draw these more than once because I then had a choice of imagery to work with. Some of them I will need to make some alterations to, for example I have painted Norman Granz's head separate to his shoulders and there are others with ink smudges which I will need to photoshop out.
