I listened to some tracks on freemusicarchive.org and downloaded a few which I thought might be appropriate for my topic. The only problem I had with this was the cropping of the track and selecting the 15 seconds I wanted. I have not used Garageband in over six years but I thought I'd have a go at it again to see if I could remember how to use it. I cropped some sections from one track and then pieced them together in this arrangement, trying to create a build up of tension and then going quiet again at the end, I played around with volume too. I'm very rusty and not very musically talented anyway but I managed to put this together to use in this task.
The main idea for this was a 'whodunnit' theme with various faces and figures appearing and disappearing amongst flickering mrnoprinted textures. There is a basic use of changes in scale, position, opacity and lighting but I don't feel that this would be challenging enough to produce.
I am not good with terminology but the 15 second piece of music had 4 sections so in the 12 frame storyboard, I used three frames for each and then cut the frame at the point where the music moved on to the next bit so it would seem like the music and image were working together.
