I watched a video about the Paris Climate Conference and how there is a hashtag '#EarthToParis' going around social media as a way of people expressing opinions about climate change and sending a message to world leaders.

This is a very laid back brief with not much structure to it at all but the theme of it is a serious topic. I do want to participate in this but I know that my motives for wanting to take part are moral rather than for business. I want to submit something just for the experience of responding to a brief based around social media, it would also be a great feeling if my work was shown at such a high profile conference alongside entries of various types from people all across the world.
UPDATE
I initially looked at this on Tuesday 10th November but since then, the horrific events in Paris on Friday have made me think twice about this brief. I think a shadow will be cast over this event if it even still goes ahead so I am going to right off this small brief before I've even begun. In hindsight, I don't think this brief had much substance to it and it wouldn't have given me much experience of working to a professional brief.
