Feedback
Evaluation
I was reluctant to add a title to my poster because I think it makes it more intriguing and interactive when people have to work out the theme for themselves - my feedback assured me that this was the right thing to do. I am pleased people grasped the theme from my drawings. I received really positive feedback about my use of ink which was good to hear because I became frustrated with my ink work on Friday as I felt I had overworked my images. I was very bold with my application of dark ink onto the aubergine jug and I didn't think about how this could offset the balance of the poster as a whole because none of the other objects were this dark in colour. I didn't want one specific item to be the focus of the poster so to solve this, I added darker areas of shadow to other objects to help even this out across the page. Overall, I feel my poster has been successful and my feedback from other students reflects this. I am pleased I chose this theme because I could push my creativity to make these objects work. Looking at other students' final posters, I thought that the layout of mine was not very strong and I feel this is something I could have put some more thought into, especially filling the spaces towards the end of the alphabet.
