This is an A-Z of famous ginger people I drew in the studio today. I initially was going to use actual people for each letter but I was struggling for ideas for all of them so I started to use fictional characters as well. I feel this adds a bit of variety to the set of images and makes them more interesting to look at as a whole. I re-drew a couple of these because I wasn't happy with my initial sketch as I didn't feel I got a very good likeness. Because this brief requires us to work in monochrome, I though I could twist this and use different shades of orange so the theme is slightly more obvious than if they were all drawn in black and white.

I first thought of doing a list of dog breeds beginning with each letter but I felt it would be more imaginative and challenging to think of an A-Z of things related to owning a dog. This was a lot of fun to think of ideas for as it is something I can relate to a lot and I got a lot of enjoyment from drawing these images. I enjoyed drawing things that cannot be represented as a single object, I felt I had to put a lot more thought and effort into each drawing to ensure I got the correct meaning across.
