This is the style of writing I chose to represent my chosen author, Agatha Christie. I feel it shows how traditionally english she is considered, the fanciness of the swirls also show the elegance and wealth of the middle to upper classes.
These were my responses to the task in the studio workshop.
I think the poison bottles are a really obvious thing to focus on for Christie because it is so well known that she uses poisons a lot in her stories as the cause of death. After this session, I feel like I need to branch out more and think about new possibilities so that my work doesn't become generic. I am also aware that a lot of people have chosen the same author as me so i'm feeling even more pressure to make mine original.
