My group chose Children's book and Education, Publishing and Book Design and Product and Packaging as our three categories. We brainstormed what could exist within each category so we had some ideas of what sort of images we could find for the next part of the task. We all decided to do a bit of everything instead of dividing ourselves up because it meant that we would all have a wider breadth of individual research and there was more chance of some of it being relative to us.
This is my research, I think the selection of images I have chosen maps out what I perceive each of these categories to be.

After combining everyone's research and making notes about different ideas connected to each category, I was still feeling pretty lost about which category I would want to choose for further exploration. I took photos of research of most of the categories so I had a good body of work to look at when completing the next stage of the task.
I think after looking over this information, I am torn between editorial and reportage and product and packaging because I think my work straddles these two areas.
