Progress Tutorial

To summarise my progress on responsive, I have completed all my small briefs and am getting on with my collaborative brief, I just need to be blogging about this honestly and effectively. I need to be getting on with my substantial brief because I need to produce a lot more work for this before the deadline. I need to get some presentation boards complete for the final crit.

I need to think more about what I am actually going to be making. I have a good amount of research so far but I need to take the time to analyse what I have and see how this can affect the decisions I need to make. Thats exactly what I need to do next - make some decisions! This is where I went wrong in the last module, I spent too long exploring potential avenues and didn't leave enough time to make the final outcomes really high quality. I need to get into my sketchbook and start drawing and designing because I really need to kickstart the visuals for this brief. 

Teresa showed me the work of Lisa Congdon as it is relevant to the pathway I am proposing for applied illustration. A lot of her work includes inspirational and motivational words but I personally find her story and practice inspirational because she is totally self taught and has not taken the conventional route to get where she is today. I am planning to explore her work more and this will probably appear on my PPP blog too because at a first glance I can see some parallels with her practice and where I want my work to exist.
