Oval Roughs for Prints

From the concepts I wrote down for my last tutorial, I have started my roughs for my final prints. I am working with an oval frame because I feel it fits the content of my imagery well and it is also reminiscent of the decorative keyholes from the time which I have looked at and drawn earlier on in my project. After sketching out three of my designs in my sketchbook, I scanned them into Photoshop, edited them and inverted them to give two different options of how this could be printed. I then printed these out and used an orange pencil to plan out where I could add in the second colour. I want the second colour to be minimal because I think the black against white is strong enough for the image anyway.

On the last page of this document are some roughs for the final two prints. I need to finish these off and do the same with them that I have done for the first three so I can start to see these as a set. I will take all of this material to the mega-crit on Tuesday and hopefully receive some constructive feedback on them.
